What I keep, and why.

This page is written for a demonstration site and would be completed for a real practice with the counsellor's ICO registration and insurer's wording.

What I collect

Your name, a way to contact you and whatever you choose to tell me in your message or in sessions. Brief session notes are kept so that I can work well with you.

How it is kept

Contact details and notes are stored securely, separately from each other, and kept for seven years after we finish, as my insurer requires. They are then destroyed.

Who sees it

Nobody, except in clinical supervision where you are not named, or where the law or a serious risk to someone's safety requires it. I explain these limits in the first session.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no third-party fonts or trackers. The contact form sends your message to my mailbox and nowhere else.

Your rights

You can ask to see what I hold, to correct it or to have it deleted where the law allows. Email hello@rowanhale.example.
